Hi everyone! Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather! The American Legion holds its monthly meetings, the second Tuesday of each month (November 8th this month) at 7:00p.m. at the Legion. We would like to get new members and past members to help us out. Like any organization we have a few dedicated men and women who do all the work. The SAL and AUX are also in need of new members. Our Legion Riders have stepped up and our doing a great job!

We have bingo and meat raffles, pull tabs, raffles for Viking tickets, pull tabs for a rifle, and great drinks!

Friday night, November 11th (Veterans Day), the SAL and Club Coordinator will be hosting a dinner for all local Vets. If you would like to attend, please call 651-674-4810 to let us know how many will attend. You may bring a guest if you wish.

John Lindhart, Sgt at Arms – This Fall our Color Guard is appearing at all our home High School football games to present the colors during the National Anthem. This past month we have provided military honors for our recently departed veterans in Wyoming, Cambridge and Almelund. The North Branch VFW Post #6424 has assisted us during these events.

We need help to fill the Color Guard ranks to continue these services. If you are interested call John @ (651)674-1764 or leave a message at the Legion Hall @ (651)674-4810.

Glenn Pierce, Gaming Manager – We have Hall Bingo every Thursday at 7pm and Bar Bingo every Saturday at 6pm. Last month we paid over $4500 in prizes during our Bingo Program.

For a $3 donation you can have a chance to win 4 tickets to see the Vikings play the Saints at the Metrodome, December 18^th. The drawing to be held on Dec 6^th stop in the clubroom or call for details.

Membership Chair, Randy Koivisto - Joining the American Legion is easy and inexpensive! For a $30.00 annual fee ($2.50 month) and completion of a short form, you can become a member of an organization that contributes much to our local community, and our veterans. While you need to have served in the military during a time of war, you do not have to have served in the war zone itself. Need more info?
